Summer Evenings In the Shadows of The Grand

I SUPPOSE if I could change anything about my very fortunate and blessed life, it would be to have friends/family to play indoor and outdoor games at least three or four nights a week. There's nothing like getting the game boards out after early dinner and starting a couple of rounds of something fun. Tonight it was Blokus---the first time I've ever played. Terrific fun even though the hostess and my good friend (above) had the very poor taste to mostly win both games. Ay well, there's always MONDAY night.

What a beautiful glimpse of the Grand, Web. :o) Love it, thanks.

Board games, cards, verbal games are part of our evenings on a semi-regular basis. We're gathering our favorites together for a few days at the coast.

Have a wonderful vacation with family and games, J. Nohting more fun than to leave the TV and often the computer far, far behind. Looking back on my life, I never had a TV on vacation, at my second homes...it was always outdoorsy and gamesy. What a wonderful way to live!

We just returned from Seabrook Island SC - no TV, no news of any kind. Just good reading, games, puzzles, early mornings on the beach watching the dolphins and pelicans have breakfast - wonderful memories.

It's affirming to read your thoughts and realize that we have kindred spirits in this life!

Sounds like a wonderful and perfect fraydna, simply wonderful. So relaxing to be cut off from all those endless news cycles on vacation. We are kindred spirits indeed

It was wonderful having Stephen coaching us all with Blokus and having you all here to beat....
