Fall Fishing for Brown Trout on the Caney

THE PHONE CONVERSATION WENT LIKE THIS THURSDAY:

Him: "Where on earth have you been all day? Just talked to Jack. They're slaying 'em up on the Caney Fork. Big browns, best fishing they've seen on that river in years. Let's run up and fish it on Friday."

Me: "There's NO way. None, zero, zilch. Too busy. Too much to do here tomorrow. I lost my Polaroids. All my fishing stuff is packed in the back of the closet. Sorry. Just one of those days, but thanks for thinking of me. And that's final. Goodbye."

Are we to assume this is your private fishing hole?I'll pay well to find the location. Can you be tempted? What'll it take. I don't believe trout that big are in Tennessee.

Well, for someone who taught me (almost) everything I know, I just might be tempted.....for a price...

How about a couple of size #18 purple Adams for the name of that undisclosed location?
