Weekend Silent Advent Retreat
THOUGHT I'D GET BACK TO THE COMPUTER SOONER BUT FAR TOO MUCH GOING ON. Now leaving for a weekend of silence and prayer up on Monteagle mountain. I need it. Will be back Sunday, God willing.

Been really enjoying your blog lately...
St. Mary's ... what a coincidence. I was just there. Actually, I'm there a lot. (If you were there Monday evening and saw a motorcycle headlight down below the bluff to the right in the deep woods, that was me... what a trip). Sewanee is like my second home. My girlfriend (the lawyer) lives there, and her dad (the doctor) has a house on the bluff very near St. Mary's. Great community. Episcopalians are a wonderfully free thinking bunch.
Left on Sunday after a lovely weekend...Tom Ward is a wonderful leader and powerful speaker but it's a very ecletic group of people who attend.
