Jay Leno on Qaddafi's Boorish U.N. Diatribe

He mercifully cut himself off before every one had left the room. Here's a taste of Qaddafi's winsome style:

I reckon it's part of being a narcissist; being so in love with one's own words (Castro was also fond of multi-hour speeches).

H/T: Ace of Spades...
At one point during yesterday's awesomely crazy speech by Khadafy the voice of the translator changed. I joked they had to go to the bullpen but I honestly thought it was just a shift change or something.

Turns out, the guy lost it and had to be replaced.

After struggling to turn Khadafy’s insane ramblings at the UN into English for 75 minutes, the Libyan dictator’s personal interpreter got lost in translation.

"I just can’t take it any more", Khadafy’s interpreter shouted ito the live microphone – in Arabic.

At that point, the U.N.’s Arabic section chief, Rasha Ajalyaqeen, took over and translated the final 20 minutes of the speech

Beats me...it's politically correct to love dictators and those who want to destroy our way of life??
