WISH I DIDN'T MOSTLY AGREE with the post @ ZeroHedge this afternoon. On some levels it really, probably doesn't matter who wins today's election especially if the winner doesn't put in some extreme fiscal measures immediately and with a divided, gridlocked Congress it's highly unlikely. But if he does, there will be some short-term pain and belt-tightening for all of us. If not, then the president will go merrily along his way, destroying what's left of this country and our prosperity in the ways laid out in the piece. It's been happening for years, but not at the exponential speed we are now about to experience.
Again, forgive me for being so pessimistic. Whoever wins may wish he hadn't a year or two down the road. There will be social and civil unrest in any and all events.
More later.

"Cheer up, things could be worse!"
So I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse!
Time for some serious prayer.
