Fly Fishing the South Holston in East Tennessee

FLY FISHING COMBINES TWO FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN CRAVINGS: the needs for both space and togetherness. It's quiet and noisy at the same time, peaceful and heart-stopping exciting---It can include adrenaline to end all adrenaline rushes! Or, nothing happens for hours on end. However when you least expect it........the toilet bowl flushes. Much later, after hours on the river mostly alone, the fun of telling tall and short tales begins with good friends and fellow maniacs!

We camp there quite often with our relatives who keep summer homes in that area! I love going out on our boat and waiting in the flanks as the bass fishermen prep for their weekly competition!
