Ann Coulter on The Liberal Fatwa Against Carrie Prejean

UPDATE: Former mob boss Michael Franzese makes Perez Hilton an offer he shouldn't refuse.

NOW, ANOTHER beautiful Christian has thrown off the liberal burqa, thereby inciting mass hysteria throughout the liberal establishment. Prejean doesn't care. She is blazing across the sky, as impotent nose-pickers jockey for a piece of her reflected light by hurling insults at her.

Link to Ann's entire piece in Human Events. BTW, does anyone remember who the real Miss USA winner is this year?

I'll be traveling over the next few days so writing here will be spotty, if at all.

Newsflash to conservative dittoheads: the only people who care what Carrie Prejean thinks are conservative dittoheads. She's like any random rightwinger and hasn't had an original thought in years. Her 15 minutes of fame would have ended 30 minutes ago, if not for the Club for Growth types who seem to come alive everytime she opens her piehole.

It's not so much WHAT Carrie P. said but the fact she stood up for her principles! We used to be urged to not simply "go with the flow" but do what we think is right. When did everything get turned so upside down? Now we're to agree with everyone about everything or else be bullies? I don't think so, not in my America!

I'm old enough to remember when liberal (in the classical sense) friends would actually say things like "I totally disagree with you, but I'd die for your right to say it."

It seems that now, instead of civil, intelligent discourse, we have name calling, pejorative descriptions, and the defense mechanism of projection.

Orwell was on to something with this observation:

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

Right Pam.

And, as I understand it, Carrie did NOT just volunteer what she said to force an agenda on anyone.

She was ASKED A QUESTION by a man who was a judge in the pageant.

I suppose she was foolish to give an honest answer instead of calculating what response would most please his royal [whatever]ness.

It takes true scum to then mount and maintain such a relentless assault on her for simply answering a question. But these are people who believe in the utter destruction of anyone who DARES to disagree with them.
