So far so good. But this is one day. We have a long ways to go in order to take our country back. One city, county and state at a time.
I totally agree, Chris. Yet without this terrific ,we wouldn't have any momentum to build on.
We had a good turnout in Franklin on the square. It is indeed a good start, but if people do not keep up the effort, it will be no more than a comical footnote in history. And this is what the Left wants to happen.

It was fun to read your account of the Nashville Tea Party, which was so obviously a spectacular success.
We had a much more modest gathering in downtown napa this morning, but I was nonetheless stunned -- I didn't think there were as many as 200 center-right pweople in the whole Bay Area, let alone in our small town!
I was delighted that Glenn Reynolds filed my eye-witness account, for what it was worth, in its entirety (scroll down to a bit below the photo of the large Cincinnati gathering).

I took the first two hours of my work day off as vacation so I could go to the Tea Party in downtown Napa before heading into the hospital in Vallejo to do consultations.
There were about 200 protesters at the gathering, which was quiet and good-natured. People assembled on Main Street downtown in front of the office of Mike Thompson, our local US Congressman, a Democrat. (He did not seem to be in at the time!) There were people of all ages, but the majority appeared to be boomers. Being a veteran of anti-Vietnam War protests in my youth, it was striking to witness the tone of this gathering, which was peaceful in the extreme, entirely moderate (the most raucous expression of protest was a guy beating on a drum in a sort of Revolutionary War tattoo!)…
There were no counter-protesters or agents provocateurs.
I was suprised and encouraged that there were as many as 200 people in the Napa Valley who would attend a gathering like this.
Many who drove down Main Street past the protesters honked in support!
I asked a woman who took a photo of the whole group to forward it to you; I’m not certain that will happen, but I hope so.

Do not for a minute believe what the main stream media is reporting
about Tea Party attendance. There were 800 Tea Parties attended by
189,000 people! The Tennessean has reported that we had 3,000 show up but the Metro Police estimate that 10,000 attended.
The main stream media and the White House will do everything to
discredit yesterday's success. Don't buy it ! Tea Party signs were home made...not the corporate produced and paid for signs that ACORN and the Left use at demonstrations. I believe July 4th is the next Tea Party date. Mark your calendars now!
I don't think you will have to wait until July 4th for your next tea party!
