A big difference in the 2 conflicts is the fact Arab states are part of the coalition against Libya. Over 100,000 Iraqis were killed over false WMD info. War crimes were confirmed by the Red Cross.
Fighter jets from Arab states Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are patrolling Libya. No Arab states were involved in the Iraq coalition. That is huge.

I would only add that there are myriad documented quotes from the previous decade by everyone from Clinton to Albright and Gore saying Saddam had WMDs. Of course that was before 9/11.
BO didnt really want to go into Libya.
But, he was worried that if he didnt, and there was a bloodbath, it would hurt his re-election chances in 2012.
Now he has to expain it without admitting the truth.
