I CANNOT REMEMBER A MEMORIAL SERVICE being more moving, appropriate and truly above the political fray than the one that unfolded in Tucson tonight at the University of Arizona stadium honoring the victims of last Saturday's horrific shooting.
It was near perfection.
It's late and I'm the world's biggest sleepy head. However, I commend all those who participated---citizens and officials alike---in this Shining City on A Hill moment in our country's time of need.
May God bless all these people and our country and bring the highest possible good from this great tragedy.
Good evening.
