I have a friend in D.C. who tells me she got to know Rahm's wife pretty well several years ago through a ladies group they were both in. At some point they talked about getting together with their husbands for dinner. A time and place was set. But at the last minute Mrs. Emmanuel called and cancelled, confessing somewhat chagrined that Rahm was flat-out refusing to go out with them because he saw them as 'moderate conservatives' which was totally unacceptable to him. My friend said that had taught her the extent of Rahm's ultra partisan lifestyle and MO.
No one I know is the least bit surprised at the shower stunt Rahm just pulled. He's the president's right-hand terrorist and hatchet man. As such he's an incredible bore.
