On the SoHo---The Most Difficult River I've Ever Fished

8:40 AM, 38 degrees. Early spring. On the most difficult river I've ever fished. Truly humbling, though Sunday was a great day.

10:40 AM, Warming up with the first big rainbow of 2017. On a #16 pheasant tail nymph. It was a female with roe---rainbows are spring spawners.  We quickly put her back so she could continue to repopulate this beautiful river.  Thanks, Jimmy, for guiding and teaching us more about the river and how to better catch fish on it.
