Duchess Kate and Queen Letiza of Spain Raise the Bar High For Beautiful Evening Wear In Exquisite Good Taste

UPDATE: WHY MIDDLE AMERICAN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT---IS BORED WITH---THE LATEST TRUMP JR FLAP
CLEARLY BARE SHOULDERS ARE IN FOR WOMEN AND ROYALTY. But it's a beautiful style that endures for the long haul. I've always thought it's the most attractive and beguilingly feminine look of any evening wear. It dazzles and delights by showing skin in the right places, even as the crude Kardashians bore us with yet another tacky, pumped up, shameless porn show.

I like everything about Kate's look---the black print gown, the earrings with no other jewelry and the dashing, happy prince at her side. Queen Letiza is flawless in every way also, without being overdone or over-decorated.

Please note, I am NOT featuring Kate's blush pink ball gown with crown and necklace she wore to the banquet below because I really don't think it's her color, her cut or her best look by a long shot.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth sticks to a gown, fit for a royal matriarch at the top of the matron game of thrones. Her dripping in crown jewels keeps us focused on who's really in charge here though all those diamonds and emeralds do seem to weigh Her Highness down a bit.   I like her little red bow, undoubtedly some sort of show of solidarity with Spain.

My idea of an atrocious edgy look at another venue far, far away....ugh.
