Flatlander's Vacation Goes Downhill In High Country

CARPE DIEM---BOOMTOWN STRIPPERS MAKE MORE THAN DOCTORS: $2K/NIGHT ON 'LONELY' OILMEN
FROM TETON PASS, WITH LOVE

CALLING CHEVY CHASE: HERE'S ONE OF THOSE WILD VACATION STORIES---borrowing a good friend's RV in Florida, then driving it West--- that's pretty bad, but could've been even worse. Nobody gets seriously hurt so we're allowed to laugh out loud even when we don't think we should. OK, go on. Actually, it's a Three Stoogies kind of cautionary tale we laugh at no matter what.

I've had this nightmare from time to time. Thank God it was only a nightmare, but some of those curves with the drop off have sent a chill up my spine. I hope everything works out for this man.

Me too, mRed. He's probably up in Yellowstone right now in a nice rental car before flying back to Florida soon!! I hope his best friend who loaned him the RV has a good sense of humor.

Glad it all had a happy ending, unless his (formerly) best friend kills him.

Also a good reminder to me to pay attention to the road as I start my yearly peregrinations through the Southwest High Country.

Yes, indeed. We're using the term 'happy ending' here loosely...since need to watch the homicide news in Florida closely the next several weeks, Treg!
