I CAN RESIST EVERYTHING EXCEPT TEMPTATION.
— Oscar Wilde
Only a sight of his glory, and nothing else, will truly satisfy God’s people.
The hearts of believers are like a magnetized needle which cannot rest until it is pointing north. So also, a believer, magnetized by the love of Christ, will always be restless until he or she comes to Christ and beholds his glory.

"The hearts of believers ...." This week, have been ruminating on how God knows what is in my heart; on how, when choosing who truly desires heaven, the Lord simply looks into hearts:
"The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord
Searching all internal parts of his being."
Proverbs 20:27
I find this terrifying. I know the machinations of my own heart.
1 Timothy 1:15
'Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst.'
Greg, Jesus didn't come to save pure hearted people cause there are nono, but those just like you and me.....
Of which I am often the worst too....
Ah, the perfect, comforting reply! Thank you. My terror and frustration are reduced. You do not always have to find the perfect reply. I do not expect it. But, it is fun when it happens. :)
