IT WAS THE FIRST RESURRECTION in the Gospels though several would follow including the one of Jesus Himself. It was a miracle done by Christ out of His deep compassion for a woman He met on the road during the funeral procession for her deceased son. Lon talks today about God's raising of the widow of Nain's son from the dead.An important message about how prayer, not more information, is often what we need to do for our unbelieving friends and relatives who scoff at the message of the Gospels. Only God can soften hearts out of His infinite compassion. Too much information, even knowledge of miracles like this, can never change hearts. But continuing prayer can and often does. I'm so glad I could be there to hear this in person.
