If the top 1% should not carry more of the tax burden, then who should? I don't understand why the moral position is to defend the super rich's tax rate when the country is running a deficit and is waging a war in at least two countries. Are we saying the poor are responsible for the deficit, or the middle class? I just don't see it.
I think the super rich should be taxed more.
