OVER THE DECADES OUR REPUBLIC'S federal government has become humongus, bloated and unaccountable as our state governments have become more dependent and weak. Our Constitution has been ransaked in the process as the enumerated powers between federal and state jurisdictions has gotten confused and lost in the bureaucracy too big to rein in.
Enter TRUMP 47 and the amazing concept of DOGE headed by renaissance man, Elon Musk. In spite of fiery protests to the contrary, this is indeed a profound revolution. It has the potential to save the country for generations to come. Speaker Johnson understands this. Hopefully we all will come to appreciate this extreme project which may cause short-term pain and uncertainty for long-term gain. Elon is certainly taking a financial hit.
As Johnson says, Elon has cracked the code and nothing will ever be the same in our country again.
