STUNNING, EPIC HISTORY MADE TUESDAY NIGHT AT MASSACHUSETTS TEA PARTY!!SHARED CONVICTIONS elected U.S. Senator Scott Brown to put government back on the side of people!
Watching Brown's acceptance speech leads me to believe he's going to be an outstanding U.S. senator and definitely, definitely presidential material.
I think 4-1 is about right, but I'm still nervous.
ReplyDeleteAnything can happen and I sure don't want to take anything for granted, Greg.....
ReplyDeleteFrom Michelle Malkin...
ReplyDeleteBrown has won the race and Coakley has conceded, and there are more long faces at MSNBC than at an aardvark convention.
:-)
This is beyond fabulous Paul....history has been made as the American people have really spoken.
ReplyDeletenice.
ReplyDeletevery nice.

I am out in Oregon right now looking for flying pigs...wow. What a great night!
ReplyDeleteHi jAne and Stacie...such a wonderful turn of events!!
ReplyDeleteStill in shock down here in Paraguay!
ReplyDeleteMr. Brown goes to Washington...in a truck!
"Republicans now hold 41-59 majority in Senate."
ReplyDeleteGot that from a friend, who got it ....... Still, funny, and largely true.
Hilarious and oh so true, Tregonsee. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI particularly liked Brown's last line, promising the people of Massachusetts: "I am your senator, and nobody else's.".
ReplyDeleteChris Matthews: "we need to keep an eye on this guy; I don't trust him.".
With all due respect, Chris (meaning exactly what that phrase implies), I have a Hell of a lot more trust in a former Lieutenant-Colonel, who has served his country, than I do in a media hack who endorses someone for Commander-In-Chief because of a "tingle" in his leg.

I really liked an earlier comment I made about Chris Matthews reaction to Scott Brown's victory: “We need to keep an eye on this guy; I don’t trust him.”, and my rebuttal to it.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I cannot find any evidence that he said that.
All I can find is a fairly outrageous one from Glenn Beck, whom I do NOT recall ever watching, but whose quote is close to what I recall.
So, if I have managed to confuse Glenn Beck with Chris Matthews, I'm not at all sure who I should apologize to.
