Uh huh. Wasn't it just the opposite in 2000? Al Gore had light years more experience than George W. Bush - but the thought that W would be a great guy to have a (non-alcoholic) beer with seemed to put him over the top. I do like how you conservatives have jumped on the "experience matters" bandwagon, though.
I don't see how you can vote for McCain anyways - he's an Episcopalian by christening, attended and graduated from Episcopal HS in Alexandria, and as far as I know, continues to subject himself to "the deadening liturgy of the prayer book" and the Holy Eucharist.
But on the other hand, he's for torture, so that's gotta be a plus.
He voted against the measure to prohibit the CIA from using waterboarding as a technique against terror suspects, limiting the CIA to the 19 techniques currently allowed in the US Army field manual.

ReplyDeleteUh, Vienna, you might want to check on that again. This fact must have been misprinted in the "Making A Liberal Matter" handbook on blog commenting.
His actual stance bothers us of the cold cold heart because he is against torturing one terrorist to save thousands of innocent people. Including you.
Wrong.
